Echocardiography Laboratory, “Carol Davila” University of Medicine and Pharmacy, Institute of Cardiovascular Diseases, Bucharest, Romania

This Laboratory was created after winning a national infrastructure grant financed by the National Authority for Scientific Research (CAPACITĂŢI programme, June 2007 competition, contract 28/CP/I/11.09.2007).

Project title: “Programme for the development of an echocardiography laboratory meeting the standards for European accreditation” (Acronym: EUROECOLAB). 

The Laboratory was awarded in March 2009 Standard Accreditation in Transthoracic and Transesophageal Echocardiography by the European Association of Echocardiography
